You’re Invited to the National FaithLands Gathering! August 25th-27th in San Rafael & Berkeley, California Spend a few days with leaders committed to helping farmers access land owned by faith-based institutions to grow food. The National FaithLands Gathering is scheduled in conjunction with a larger ½-day Food, Faith and Farms conference August 25th addressing broader topics around food, faith, farming, including food justice and sustainable agriculture. Your registration includes both events. Who should attend? This gathering is for people from around the U.S. actively developing models for food production on land owned by faith-based organizations and institutions, or who are decision-makers within a religious group that could make land available. This is for farmers, land managers, farmer advocates, and others committed to increase the number of acres available to beginning farmers by leasing, or even purchasing, lands owned by faith-based institutions. |
